The Komatsu Laboratory is always interested in motivated and curious individuals who wish to pursue research in regenerative medicine, tissue engineering, and translational cell therapy.
Our lab values interdisciplinary thinking, independence, and collaboration, and we welcome trainees from diverse scientific backgrounds.
Postdoctoral Researchers
We welcome applications from postdoctoral researchers with experience or strong interest in one or more of the following areas:
- Cell biology, stem cell biology, or regenerative medicine
- Biomedical engineering, biomaterials, or tissue engineering
- Oxygen transport, metabolism, or quantitative biological analysis
Candidates should have a Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree and a strong publication record or demonstrated research potential.
Graduate Students
Graduate students interested in joining the lab should apply through their respective graduate programs.
Rotation opportunities may be available depending on program requirements.
Undergraduate Students
Highly motivated undergraduate students interested in research experience are encouraged to contact the lab.
Availability may depend on current projects and mentoring capacity.
